If I told you about a 2 calorie, fizzy beverage in convenient tablet form, one that you just add to water to concoct a refreshing beverage, would you want to give it a shot? I was sufficiently intrigued by the premise, that I spent $5.79 for a tube of 10 drink mix tablets (they were buy one get one free, so I guess I only spent $2.90 on each tube). What's the product? It's called Zenergize, and it promises to "transform your water into a great tasting, healthy InfuZion of life into your day."
The varieties of Zenergize boast different health claims and different flavors. There's energy+ (in berry blend and tropical citrus flavors), burn (in raspberry + green tea and peach + green tea flavors), hydrate (in lemon lime and orange flavors), immunity (in orange + pomegranate and citrus flavors), and super-V (in acai + pomegranate flavor).
I tried the energy+ berry blend and tropical citrus, burn peach + green tea, and super-V acai + pomegranate flavors. My favorite of these were the peach + green tea and tropical citrus flavors, which I found to be pleasantly effervescent and refreshing. The berry blend and acai + pomegranate flavors were slightly artificial-tasting but not so much that I couldn't enjoy a glass. None of the flavors were overly sweet, which was a welcome change from some other drink mixes.
