I was perusing the chip aisle the other day and came across a brand of pita chips that I hadn't tried before, World Classics Trading Company Sea Salt Baked Pita Chips. These chips have an all natural ingredients list, so I quickly scooped up a pack - bypassing my beloved Stacy's Pita Chips.
World Classics Trading Company Sea Salt Baked Pita Chips are a hit, rivaling Stacy's Pita Chips in every which way. The majority of the chips are a bit thinner than Stacy's variety, which gives them a more delicate crunch. However, the flavor is practically identical, being simply salted and exploiting that touch of salt to the best of their ability. Furthermore, a touch of oil keeps the chips from possessing any sort of dryness.
The ingredient list won't let you down and includes enriched wheat flour (okay, whole wheat might have been better), sunflower oil, sea salt, yeast and cultured wheat flour. Furthermore, each 28 gram (13 chip) serving provides 130 calories, 5 grams of total fat & 0.5 grams of which is saturated fat (8% & 2% of the daily value), 280mg of sodium (12% of the DV), 1 gram of fiber (4% of the DV), less than 1 gram of sugar and 3 grams of protein.
