The name is a mouthful, as are many names of the treasures you can find in your local Asian grocery store. While on the prowl for shirataki noodles in a local supermarket, I ran into this lovely treat: a jar full of Teriyaki flavored Seasoned Sea Vegetable Strips. They are a form of nori, like the seaweed used for sushi, but instead they're cut into individual strips and seasoned and ready-made to enjoy as a snack in its own right. If you like the seaweed flavor, you will probably like these. It was lightly spiced, so the seaweed flavor was predominant, with a mild yet flavorful kick of teriyaki. It is enjoyable on it's own (though very dry), or it can be used as a garnish in soups, salads, or other recipes.
