I almost always have a frozen burrito of some form camping out in my freezer. They are perfect when I need something quick, well rounded and filling to help me power through a day full of lectures, labs and studying. The other day, I had an hour to whip up a quick lunch and tackle some Calculus homework, so I threw a PJ's Organic Chicken Burrito into the microwave and got my books all set up.
When taking the burrito out of the microwave, I could tell that this was not your average frozen burrito. The tortilla was very "flour-y" and reminded me of a cast (that you get put on your arm/ leg/ limb, when it's broken) - odd comparison I know, but it was very thick, hard and overbearing in some areas and too doughy in others. The inside was tasty, but this supposedly has chicken in it - being a chicken burrito and all - but it must be shredded and ground super fine, because I couldn't see it. I had the same issue with Cedarlane Low Fat Chicken Burrito, but the nutrition facts are better, so Cedarlane has the upper-hand.
