Kahiki sent me their Kahiki Naturals Vegetable Egg Rolls to try. On the Kahiki blog written by Tim Tsao, VP Sales and Marketing, they say they are better than the competition, so you know I wanted to know if they really deserved bragging rights. They do!
Kahiki Naturals Vegetable Egg Rolls is "an all-vegetarian blend of cabbage and carrot in a crispy wheat and flaxseed egg roll wrapper with sweet & sour dipping sauce included." Each package contains 3 egg rolls. They can be made in the microwave, which is what I did, or in a conventional oven. Even microwaved, the egg rolls are delicious. The wrapper is crispy and the veggies taste light and fresh - I didn't even use the sweet and sour sauce that comes included. The ingredients for the filling start with cabbage & carrots so you know Kahiki didn't plump this up with filler. I reached for a 2nd one and ate it slower than the first one, which I tore threw because it was so good! After that I was full since each egg roll is only 120 calories, I wouldn't have felt too guilty reaching for the 3rd one.
