Health Valley Organic MultiGrain Apple Cinnamon Square Ems Cereal Review

Health Valley Organic MultiGrain Apple Cinnamon Square Ems CerealI was intrigued by Health Valley Organic Multi-Grain Apple Cinnamon Square-Ems Cereal because the picture on the box looked just like Quaker Oatmeal Squares, which got a good review. This gem was hidden in the small Organic foods section of the supermarket, so I consider it a hidden find.

The cereal pieces were plump with plenty of texture from the oat and wheat flour. There's a tiny pocket of air sandwiched inside, reducing the density of the cereal, but the apple cinnamon flavor is quite pronounced and leaves me going yum! The squares are a perfect size to eat as a snack, but they will leave a residue on your fingers if you eat them that way.

Health Valley Organic Red Cherry Toaster Tarts Review

Health Valley Organic Red Cherry Toaster TartsFirst of all, if you are a Nutri-grain Bar lover, kiss them goodbye because after you taste Health Valley Organic Red Cherry Toaster Tarts, they may never make it back into your grocery cart again!

The organic cherry pie filling is subtly sweet and tart at the same time, and when combined with the soft and succulent whole wheat crust, it tastes like ... cherry pie! The chewy crust is more wholesome and a bit thicker than a Nutri-grain bar, rendering it much sturdier (and slightly bigger). These organic single wrapped treats are perfect for a quick breakfast or snack on the go (though you may need to add something like fruit to boost the fiber count). However, if you are fortunate enough to have a toaster close by (and can refrain from eating the tart right after the wrapper has been removed), feel free to pop your treat in the toaster for a few minutes. The final product will be a crispier "crust" and a warm fruity filling.
