YoCrunch Greek NonFat Peach Yogurt

YoCrunch Greek NonFat Peach Yogurt is the first product that I tried from the new "YoCrunch" brand. It used to be a part of Breyers, but that relationship has now ended. I wondered if YoCrunch would be better, worse or the same as before the partnership ended.

NUTRITION FACTS
Serving Size: 1 container (170 grams)
Calories: 170
Total Fat: 1 gram, 2%
Saturated Fat: 0%
Sodium: 110 mg, 5%
Carbohydrates: 31 grams
Fiber: 2 grams, 8%
Sugars: 20 grams
Protein: 11 grams

I wish I could say that I enjoyed this, but alas, I did not. Looking back through the Breyers YoCrunch reviews, one thing remains consistent, and is also the same with this YoCrunch Greek Yogurt - the taste is unremarkable. But in this case, also this is as thick as many other Greek yogurts I've had, there is also a slightly chalky/ sandy texture. There is a light peach flavor, but the "fruit on the bottom" didn't provide much in the way of taste or texture - it sort of just blended in.

Each 170 gram container (6 ounces) of YoCrunch Greek NonFat Peach Yogurt provides 170 calories, 1 gram of total fat (yes - despite it being a "nonfat" yogurt), 2 grams of fibers, 20 grams of sugars and 11 grams of protein. There is also 25% of the daily value for calcium and vitamin D. The granola does provide a nice crunch, but save some calories and don't use all of it.

The ingredients list (which can be seen on the YoCrunch website) is pretty standard and starts with cultured pasteurized Grade A nonfat milk, sugar and peaches. I paid $1.00 for a container, and I have seen rave reviews of YoCrunch Greek Yogurt, so I will happily try another variety, but I won't be buying this one again - it's just not worth the splurge, because 20 grams of sugars is quite a bit from one snack. There are lots of other choices - just check out our Yogurt Reviews section - but a few of my MANY favorites are Brown Cow All Natural 0% Fat Greek Yogurt (Strawberry on the Bottom) and Dannon Greek Yogurt (Strawberry).
