Muller Greek Corner Lowfat Yogurt (Blackberry & Raspberry)

Müller Greek Lowfat Blackberry & Raspberry Yogurt, a product of Quaker, is a Greek STYLE yogurt, where the fruit puree is in a separate section, and has to be mixed in - similar to Chobani Flip Greek Yogurt (Raspberry Choco Fix) reviewed last week.

This Müller yogurt is thick and creamy like you would expect of "authentic" Greek yogurts, and the blackberry & raspberry puree adds a nice sweetness and flavor. The ingredients list shows that this company used real blackberries and raspberries - yay for us! I've found that most of the Greek (and Greek style) yogurts are using real ingredients as opposed to flavoring, and I hope this trend will continue.

Remember that Muller Greek Corner Lowfat Blackberry & Raspberry Yogurt is a Greek "STYLE" yogurt, so some of the 9 grams of protein present is a 5.3 ounce serving, is added from milk protein concentrate and whey protein concentrate (according to the ingredients list). The other ingredients listed for the low-fat yogurt are cultured pasteurized grade A reduced fat milk, sugar, modified food starch and gelatin ... which adds to the thickness. For the blackberry-raspberry preparation - blackberries, sugar, water, raspberries, glucose-fructose syrup, raspberry juice from concentrate, citric acid, pectin, natural and artificial flavor, locust bean gum, guar gum and calcium citrate.

I paid $1.00 for a Müller Greek Lowfat Blackberry & Raspberry Yogurt, and whereas I enjoyed the taste, I would probably go with authentic Greek yogurt, such as YoCrunch Yopa Authentic Greek Non-Fat Yogurt (Black Cherries) - which is the same price, and has more protein.
