Dannon Light & Fit Key Lime Yogurt Review

Rating:

Dannon Light and Fit Key Lime YogurtIf you haven't tried any of the new flavors of Dannon Light & Fit, you may be doing yourself a disservice. Dannon has come up with 5 new varieties of their 80 calorie Light 'n Fit yogurt including Mixed Berry, Cherry, Key Lime, and limited time only Pineapple Coconut and Pomegranate Berry - and let me tell you, after trying the Key Lime flavor, I can't wait to try them all.

I was in the grocery store picking up some fruit yesterday when I happened upon the new Light & Fit flavors. I must admit, I don't even like Key Lime pie that much, but I was intrigued enough to try Dannon's take on the dessert flavor. I opened the package and spooned up my first taste. It was a delicious mouthful and much creamier than what I would have expected from an 80 calorie yogurt yummy. The key lime flavor was perfect - not too over the top but the essence was present. I love it when snacks are flavorful and this made me feel like I had a real dessert instead of a yogurt!

Like all Dannon Light & Fit Yogurts, each 6 ounce serving provides 80 calories, no fat, 95 mg of sodium (4% of the RDA), 240 mg of potassium (7% of the RDA), 5 grams of protein, and 11 grams of sugar, in addition to 8% of the RDA for vitamin A, 15% for calcium, 20% for vitamin D, 20% for riboflavin, and 15% for phosphorus. The sweeteners used are aspartame and sucralose.

I picked up one container for 80 cents, and you can be sure I'll be buying this one again! Way to go, Light & Fit!
