Dannon Light & Fit Yogurts have quite the array of yogurt flavors. We're talking Watermelon, Cantaloupe, Key Lime Pie, Apple Pie - I want to try them all, and so on my last trip to the grocery store, I picked up a flavor that was previously untested by me - Dannon Light & FIt Blackberry Yogurt.
This is not one of the typical berry varieties found in most yogurt lineups - usually it's strawberry, blueberry, raspberry and even berry berry. However, it should be! Dannon makes a creamy, light yet rich yogurt in this flavor and I love it. I'm actually not sure it tastes like blackberry, but it sure tastes good.
Each creamy 6 ounce cup of Dannon Light & FIt Blackberry Yogurt provides 80 calories, no fat, 11 grams of sugar and 5 grams of protein. The sweetener used is sucralose.
A 6 ounce container of Dannon Light & FIt Blackberry Yogurt cost me around 80 cents, and it's definitely worth it. I only wish it had more protein - maybe I'll try mixing it with some Fage next time. Yoplait used to be my favorite low fat ice cream, but I think Dannon Light & Fit might be edging into the lead. Of course, I love Greek yogurt too!
