Splenda Mist No Calorie Sweetener Review

Head's up - there's a new Splenda kid on the block! Splenda Mist No Calorie Sweetener is the newest in the lineup of the brand's no-calorie products, and let me tell you, it's fantastic! From the Splenda website, "a chic sweetener spray that lets you sweeten whatever, whenever! Just a press of a button allows you to spritz up exactly the sweetness you want on fruit, cereal, yogurt, drinks and more."

Each spritz of the sweetener is equivalent to 1 tsp of sweet stuff, and two sprays is like adding a whole Splenda packet. I added this to toast (with butter spray and cinnamon) and popcorn as well, and I could detect no off flavors.

Each cute spray bottle hold 170 sprays (zero calories per spray). I got my sample free from the website (but that offer is finished now). It retails for $6.95.

Looking around the internet, it seems this version of the sweetener has received mixed reviews - some people can't imagine why you would want it in a spray, and others love it. I'm in the latter camp. I like that I can get a sweetener in another form - although I can't imagine myself toting this around just in case of a "sweetener emergency" - just don't think that will ever happen.
