Powerade Zero Review
There are a lot of sports drinks out there, all touting some kind of health benefit, but a closer look at these beverages reveals that, healthy and wonderful as these drinks may seem to be, many of them have about a lot of sugar and more calories than a "drink" should have! Imagine my excitement, therefore, when I saw that Powerade was offering a new line of zero-calorie sports drinks, aptly called Powerade Zero.
Powerade Zero is offered in three flavors: Grape, Mixed Berry and Strawberry. These drinks taste much like what I have come to expect from sports drinks - sweet with somewhat artificial flavors that still seem to be able to quench your thirst after a good workout. I liked the Strawberry flavor best, but they were all pretty appealing (if you like sweet drinks).

Each Powerade Zero drink offers 10% of each vitamins B3, B6, and B12 per 8 ounce serving along with no calories. The sweetener used are sucralose (Splenda) acesulfame-K and I found these drinks at the grocery store for $1.39 each, but I've seen them as high as $1.79 per 32-ounce container at other stores.
The parent company, Coca Cola replaced Powerade Option (which we reviewed) with Powerade Zero, but it seems that it kept the same too sweet taste - some may like this and some may not. I thought it was okay, and I would buy it again. Propel Fitness Water has 10 calories per serving, but up to 25% of B vitamins plus vitamin C and E.
