Diet Pepsi Max Review
Diet Pepsi Max is Pepsi's new ginseng infused diet cola. Adding ginseng gives the soda a caffeine boost to 46 milligrams per 8 ounce serving compared to 24 mg in regular Diet Pepsi. The taste of the Maxxed out Pepsi is very similar to diet Pepsi - no weird aftertaste. If you're still drinking sodas, then you'll like this, and if you claim you don't like diet sodas - then I would say give this a try and see if you don't become a convert.
A 12 ounce bottle has 69 milligrams of caffeine, which is more than Diet Mountain Dew and Mellow Yello with 55 and 51 mg per 12 ounce. Diet Vanilla Coke and Coke with Lime both have 45 mg in 12 ounces; and a Tall Starbucks Coffee has 260 mg. Check out the caffiene database at Energy Fiend.

The sweeteners used in Diet Pepsi Max are acesulfame K and aspartame and of course, there are no calories. Too much caffeine is not good for you at all - but considering that this has half the caffeine as a cup of coffee, I would probably get this if I needed a soda fix. I prefer Diet Pepsi to Diet Coke - what's your soda of choice?
