The whole concept of spritzing on your dressing to help control portion and nicely coat your salad really impressed me. After trying Wishbone Asian Silk Salad Spritzers and loving it, I wanted more. This time around, I opted to try the Raspberry Bliss Vinaigrette.
Each spritz has roughly 1 calorie, and the label reflects stats for the "average serving", is 10 spritzes, which would provide 10 calories, 2 grams of carbohydrates, 0.5 grams of total fat, and 1 gram of sugar.
If I was impressed with the Asian Silk Salad Spritzer, I was completely bowled over by the Raspberry Bliss. Each spritz covered a nice portion of my salad and gave it a tart, sweet, tangy flavor. I remember when I first heard about "salad spritzers" I thought it was a ridiculous idea, but now I'm the biggest fan. If you enjoy light, but definitely 'there' flavors, that will still let the taste of your veggies shine through, then you should definitely give this a chance.
I purchased this bottle for $1.99 at Wegmans (local grocer), on sale from $2.99. Either price is totally worth it, as a little of this stuff goes a long way. I used this up on salads, but next time, I will probably branch out to trying this on different things ... maybe on chicken? This was a wonderful way to coat my lunchtime salad and quite the caloric bargain to boot!
