Pizza Fit 'n Free Review

Pizza Fit n FreeOh pizza straight out of the oven, with its crunchy crust, ooey gooey cheese, and spicy tomato sauce - is there anything better? Unfortunately, they can be calorie bombs, and some "diet" pizzas just aren't satisfying. But Pizza Fit 'n Free says they are "America's Fat Free Pizza." Well now - that's all they needed to say to get me to try it!

Each 7 inch (6.4 ounce) pizza clocks in at only 250 calories, no fat, 16% of the daily value for sodium (380 mg), 20 grams of protein and 41 grams of carbohydrates which includes 3 grams of fiber (12% of the DV) and no sugar. There is also 26% of daily recommendations for vitamin A and 45% for calcium. I was really excited. The only problem: these pizzas are only available online! Six pizzas cost $29.94 plus shipping ($6 if you order just the six pizzas; the price goes down if you order more), which is a bit on the pricey side. The company sent me a sample, though, and once I got it, I dug in right away.

The instructions are pretty simple: heat the 7" cheese pizza for 8-10 minutes in a 400 degree oven. I did this, hardly able to wait those few minutes for it to warm up. The size is generous and should easily satisfy you. Once it was out of the oven I was amazed - the cheese was melted to perfection, and there was just enough of it atop the pizza - how in the world is this fat free?! The sauce was really good as well - not too overpowering on the tomato taste, and the crust came out quite crunchy. I finished my pizza and found myself not just satisfied but really happy about my meal yum.

The ingredients are actually pretty straightforward too. There are no toppings, so add your own - may I suggest bell peppers and some Lightlife Smart Deli Pepperoni. Needless to say, despite the price, I plan on purchasing more of these - what an amazing guilt-free pizza option!
