After taking one bite of Larabar Chocolate Cherry Jocalat Bar, I was in love. This bar combines the best components of 3 bars already reviewed here on Iateapie.net, Balance Almond Brownie Bar, Larabar Jocalat Chocolate Coffee Bar and Larabar Cherry Pie Bar.
The overall feel of the bar reminds me of a much moister version of the Balance Almond Brownie Bar. However, it does not stop there. The texture has bits of almonds and walnuts dispersed throughout to add a bit of textural difference. Furthermore, the unsweetened cherry pieces added to the mix contribute a natural burst of sweetness to every bite. I would even go as far to say that it resembled a soft brownie dressed up with nuts and dried cherries (mental note: try microwaving the bar next time). Have you tasted this delicious bar for yourself? Is my brownie comparison pushing the limits?

Larabars generally sell for around $1.50 in my neck of the woods, which is not cheap but it seems that the Chocolate Cherry Jocalat Larabar has stolen my heart (and possibly my wallet).
