Clif Kid Blueberry Organic ZBar Review

Clif Blueberry Organic ZBarClif Kid Organic Chocolate Chip Z Bar received a glowing review, and I could not agree more! I have heard about the multitude of intriguing ZBar flavors, yet, until last week, I was never able to find anything other than Chocolate Chip or Chocolate Brownie (both of which are great). Last week, while walking around Target, I ran into a box of Blueberry Clif ZBars and could not have been more psyched.

Of course, I barely waited to leave the store before ripping open one of the tempting little bars. It has the typical soft cookie texture shaped into a bar and drizzled with icing. The blueberry variety is by far one of my favorite flavors (tied for first place with chocolate chip). This particular bar seems a bit denser and moister than the others and has little blueberries dispersed within the perfectly sweet bar that add a boost to the delicious mouth feel. I have seen Clif ZBars are utilized in every which way, from crumbling one over yogurt, microwaving one for a piping hot treat or simply having it with your morning tea as I do.

One satisfying 36 gram Clif Kid Blueberry Organic ZBar has a mere 120 calories, 2.5 grams of fat (4% of the RDA), NO saturated fat, 90 mg of sodium (4% of the RDA), 3 grams of fiber (12% of the RDA), 11 grams of sugar and 3 grams of protein. Furthermore, Clif Zbars are fortified with a whole host of vitamins and minerals. The ingredient list is 100% organic and fairly short, considering the complexity of this stellar bar.

Clif Blueberry ZBars may be labeled as a snack for kids, but do not let that little glitch turn you away. These tasty treats are a pretty low-cal way to satisfy your sweet tooth and stay on track. One 7.62 ounce box houses 6 bars and generally costs somewhere around $4.00. If you have to make some cuts elsewhere in your shopping trip to afford these little babies, it will be completely worth it!
