BumbleBar Organic Energy Bar (Chocolate Crisp) Review

From the reviews of BumbleBars, you can see that they are a favorite here at i{ate}A{pie}. These bars are gluten-free, wheat free, dairy free, certified organic ... and certified tasty. And, I believe I might have found the BEST flavor of them all, the Chocolate Crisp BumbleBar (and yes, I said the same thing about the Cherry Chocolate BumbleBar Organic Energy Bar ... they are both so good).

One morning, I opened up the top of the wrapper, slid the bar out half-way and snapped some pictures. I didn't eat the bar immediately, in fact, I didn't get around to trying it for several days. During that period of time, I had slid the bar back in the wrapper and put it a box. By the time I got around to it, I figured the bar might have gotten ... weird ... since the wrapper had been open for so long. I tore off a piece anyway to try it - and ... I don't want to be dramatic here ... but I think I heard angels singing it's praises! It was that good!

The bar had gotten a bit crunchier, but the delicate chocolate flavor, the crunch of the sesame seeds ... oh so, so good. I think I will always have Bumblebars this way from now on.

Each 45-gram Chocolate Crisp BumbleBar Organic Energy Bar provides 200 calories, 11 grams of total fat, of which 2 grams is saturated fat (17% and 8% of the daily value), 4 grams of fiber (14% of the DV), 12 grams of sugars and 5 grams of protein.

The ingredients are, Organic Sesame Seeds, Organic Brown Rice Syrup, Organic Crisp Brown Rice (Organic Brown Rice, Organic Brown Rice Syrup, Sea Salt), Organic Evaporated Cane Juice, Organic Dairy Free Chocolate Chips (Organic Cocoa Liquor, Organic Cocoa Butter, Organic Sugar, Soy Lecithin {GMO FREE}), Organic Flax Seeds, Organic Peanuts, Organic Cocoa Powder, Organic Extract of Vanilla, Sea Salt, Natural Mixed Tocopherols.

I received samples of BumbleBar Organic Energy Bars to review, but they are available online at the Bumblebar website for $2.00 or a box with 15 for $27.00. Really loved the flavor, the bar is hefty and satisfying, and the ingredients list - organic and au-natural - so you can understand when I say the BumbleBar Organic Energy Bar (Chocolate Crisp) is one of my favorite nutrition bars.
