Silk Chocolate Soymilk Review
Silk Chocolate Soy Milk is one great tasting beverage! Two thumbs up all the way
. The taste is chocolatey, not too sweet and there is absolutely no beany soy taste nor any other aftertaste. It was so good that I almost drank the entire 11 ounce bottle that I bought - straight. I didn't add it to cereal or anything else. If your kids don't like milk, if you are lactose intolerant, or even if you are just drink milk with your cereal, then I strongly suggest you give this a try.
One 11 ounce bottle of Silk Chocolate Soymilk is 1 serving (I am pleasantly surprised that they don't follow the ridiculous trend of making 8 ounces a serving when the bottle is just 3 ounces more). One bottle has 200 calories, 5 grams of total fat which is 7% of the recommended daily amount, 1 gram of saturated fat, 7 grams of protein and 32 grams of total carbohydrates which includes 8% of the RDA for fiber (2 grams) and 26 grams of sugar. There is also 70% of the vitamin B12 daily requirements, 40% calcium, vitamin D and riboflavin and 15% of vitamin A,
I know this not necessarily 'low cal' but you probably wouldn't be drinking the entire bottle. And in case you are concerned about high fructose corn syrup, there is none of it in this. The ingredients are organic soymilk, organic evaporated cane juice, cocoa, calcium carbonate, natural flavors, sea salt, caragennan, vitamin A palmitate, vitamin D2, B2, and B12.
One 11 ounce bottle was $1.39 at Whole Foods and I will definitely be buying it again. And don't forget to sign up to get a coupon for $3.00 off Silk [read the details].
