Blue Bell No Sugar Added Cookies and Cream Ice Cream Review
Blue Bell Ice Cream No Sugar Added Ice Cream uses "sugar alcohols" to make up the sweetness. Sugar alcohols will cause stomach upset aka diarrhea if you consume too much, so including sugar alcohols in ice cream is a guaranteed portion control. However, I wouldn't worry too much about eating too much of this because this ice cream would not be my first choice.
I tried the Cookies n Cream flavor and the taste was just off. I know it must be very difficult formulating a 'no sugar added' ice cream, but this product, while edible, is far from the tasty treat you expect when you eat ice cream.

Blue Bell No Sugar Added Cookies 'n Cream Ice Cream in addition to being low in sugar (5 grams), is also low fat with only 3 grams total, 1.5 grams saturated fat and provides 110 calories. You also get 45% calcium, but you don't need me to tell you there are other, more nutritious, sources of calcium.
Overall, if I'm going to splurge on ice cream, I don't this will be it, not when Breyer's Fat Free Ice Cream tastes so good.
