Good Humor Strawberry Shortcake Ice cream Bar is described as having a "cake coated artificially flavored light vanilla ice cream." That description doesn't sound particularly enticing - maybe it's they throw the "articifially flavored" right at cha! Still, it was $0.99, so I figured, why not, I didn't have much to lose.

The outside is lightly cake covered with pink and white "cake dots." The inside has vanilla ice cream and the bright pink strawberry filling. The nice thing about this is the cake part adds a nice chewy texture and a slightly sweet taste. The strawberry filling adds a more intense sweet taste, but I honestly didn't get any strawberry flavor from this. While this bar certainly looks the part, and the taste is okay, strawberry shortcake it's not even close.

Each 65 gram Good Humor Strawberry Shortcake Ice cream Bar provides 230 calories, 15% and 18% of the daily value for total and saturated fat, 17 grams of sugars, 1 gram of fiber and 2 grams of protein. Surprisingly, the ingredients list contains real strawberries, though the rest of it is long and ... not all natural.

While this was okay, I wouldn't waste my 41.00 on this. Your money is better spent on a Skinny Cow Strawberry Cheesecake Ice Cream Cup.
