Ocean Spray Craisins: Sweetened Dried Craisins Review
Craisins are a sweetened, dried cranberry snack that is just simply yummilicious
, sweet with a slight tart taste. I strongly urge you to weigh out your portion and put up the rest behind a locked door, because there is no way that you can snack on just 1 serving of this and not go back for more! Craisins is perfect as a snack, or add to yogurt or for baking in muffins, salad, cookies, sweet breads ... what can't you do with Craisins.
The ingredients are cranberries and sugar - all the brands of dried cranberries that I looked at are sweetened (others use high fructose syrup).

One serving of Craisins, 1/3rd cup (40 grams), has 130 calories and 33 grams of total carbohydrates, which includes 26 grams of sugars and 12% of the RDA for fiber. There is no fat, sodium or protein. One bag of Craisins which has 4 servings cost $2.85. Natural cranberries only have 51 calories, 4.4 grams of sugar and 5 grams of fiber in a 100 gram serving.
The sugar content in Craisins is quite high, so this may not be the best snack for people on a diet, but it's worth it as an occasional treat for you or the kids.
