Fruit Gushers Review
Fruit Gushers are small pieces of soft chewable candy with a little 'fruit juice filling' on the inside that squirts out when you bite into it. Is this healthy you may ask. You may think it's basically just full of sugar, but to my surprise there are only 13 g of sugar per serving of 10 pieces. To put this into perspective, a small glass (8 ounces) of hmmm... lets say V8 Splash, has 18 g of sugar. So fruit pieces with 13 g of sugar isn't too bad at all. There are 90 calories per serving in this baby and you can actually get 25% of your daily Vitamin C from this.
The taste is really good and which candy doesn't taste good? Very few in our imperfect world. The little squirt of fruit juice you get when you bite into this oddly trapezoid shaped candy is just a wee bit, which is my opinion is the perfect amount. I hate biting into things and getting a mouthful of juice/filling. Yuck! So I'm glad they didn't go overboard with this product.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend this product for any nutritious purposes. I mean, if you want Vitamin C, go drink some juice. But if you must have candy, and there are those days, then this isn't a bad way to go. It would also make a good little treat for kids. A box cost under $2.00, and has 6 pouches and each pouch has 10 pieces.
