Haagen-Dazs Strawberry Sherbet Review
I'll be the first to admit it - I have never bought 'sherbet' before. In fact, I barely had an idea what it was, but in my quest for new and interesting foods to review - I came across Haagen Dazs Strawberry Sherbet.
Sherbet is a frozen dessert made from iced sweetened fruit juice or puree. The Haagen Dazs sherbet comes in a pint, like ice cream, and is in fact found in the ice cream section in the grocery store. If you haven't been eating sherbet, may I humbly suggest that you grab a pint of this immediately perhaps instead of that ice cream that you were reaching for. The sherbet was delicious, it is very fruity, and it just melts in your mouth. This is the perfect thing for hot summer days.

There are 120 calories in a 1/2 cup serving, no fat, but 30 grams of sugar which is the main contributor to the calories. The amount of sugar in this is a bit high (disappointing) but hopefully they will lower the amount of sugar added and still maintain the great taste. Although the amount of sugar is on the high side, I would still recommend this when you are having cravings - you could do a lot worse.
