There are quite a few Weight Watchers Reviews already, but when I saw that the packaging got revamped, well I was excited to see if I maybe they had some new "wow" products. So into the shopping cart went Weight Watchers Three Cheese Ravioli.
This meal is 6 Weight Watchers Points and in my opinion, it's 6 Points wasted. This just wasn't that cheesy. The blend of lowfat Cottage cheese, Parmesan and Romano cheese produced a dry lifeless ravioli. But the marinara sauce was good - not too tomatoey and it improved the taste of the ravioli - almost made it tasty ... almost ... but not quite. Don't get me wrong, it's not horrible, but there are quite a few better tasting options - like the Lean Cuisine Cheese Ravioli.
Each Weight Watchers Three Cheese Ravioli meal provides 230 calories, 6 grams of total fat, 2.5 grams of which is saturated fat (9% and 13% of the daily value), 510 mg sodium (21% of the DV), 4 grams of fiber (16% of the DV), 5 grams of sugars and 12 grams of protein.
The ingredients list was surprisingly not too long and rather readable. I bought this on sale for $1.99 and I'm looking forward to trying other Weight Watchers meals, but probably wouldn't buy the Three Cheese Ravioli again. Not while Lean Cuisine Butternut Squash Ravioli is still being sold! And Annie's Homegrown Organic Cheesy Ravioli is a nice "canned" alternative as well (but higher in sodium).
