Weight Watchers Smart Ones Chicken Oriental Review

I enjoy eating Chinese food, but it is definitely not very healthful with all the oil and salt they use. Frozen Asian-inspired meals like this Weight Watchers Smart Ones Chicken Oriental are a great alternative to restaurant fare. Even though frozen food can be hit or miss, this one was pretty good to me.

This meal seems pretty standard: rice, chicken, veggies, and sauce. The quality of the rice and chicken was good, and the sauce covered the food in just the right amount with a nice mix of sweet and salty that was reminiscent of a Chinese restaurant but less oily. The vegetables included the typical carrots, celery, and bell peppers, but I was surprised and pleased to also see water chestnuts, bean sprouts, and spinach. Each component delivered and really made this meal delicious.

I paid $1.75 for this meal at Target while it was on sale, which is a very reasonable price. I've had some mediocre experiences with the Weight Watchers Smart Ones, but this meal, despite it being a little high in sodium, is one that I will buy again in the future.
