Boca Chunky Tomato and Herb Meatless Lasagna Review
As much as I love you Boca, I must say that this Meatless Lasagna was truly a forgettable experience. I am a big fan of the Boca Meatless Ground Burger, so I was expecting the lasagna, which is made from the ground burger and chunky tomato & herb sauce, to taste pretty darn good. I was very disappointed.
The sauce itself wasn't bad, and probably the best thing about the lasagna. It was very flavorful and didn't have an overpowering tomato paste taste. But the pasta was tough and the cheese didn't have any taste at all. despite there being lots of it. Boca could have added spinach or something else to rev up the flavor of the meal.

If you do decide to try Boca Chunky Tomato and Herb Meatless Lasagna, one bowl is 290 calories, 8% of the recommended daily amount of fat (5 grams), 10% of the RDA for saturated fat, 37% of the RDA for sodium (880 mg), 21 grams of protein and 42 grams of total carbohydrates, which includes 8 grams of sugars and 20% of the RDA for fiber.
Boca was on sale this week for $2.50 and I don't think it was worth it even at that price. I much prefer Michelina's Lean Gourmet Five Cheese Lasagna which doesn't contain meat and Lean Cuisine Cheese Lasagna with Chicken Scaloppini.
