Dasani Plus Cleanse + Restore Vitamin Enriched Flavored Water Beverage Review

Dasani Plus is vitamin enhanced water similar to Glaceau Vitamin Water and Propel Fitness Water. I tried the Cleanse+Restore variety which is flavored with pomegranate and blackberry. The taste of this beverage was pretty unremarkable and certainly there was absolutely NO pomegranate or blackberry flavor that I could detect. It is more like a general berry flavor with a slightly acidic, tart edge from the added citric acid. In fact, neither pomegranate nor blackberry is listed in the ingredients list. Sure there is the generic term "natural flavors" on the label, but that could be anything.

The vitamins added in the Cleanse+Restore variety are 10% of vitamin E, B3, B6 abd B12, and there are no calories. The sweeteners used are sucralose (Splenda) and acesulfame K.

A 20 fluid ounce bottle of Dasani Plus costs $1.59. I would suggest you buy this if you want flavored water, but don't think for a minute that you are getting anything other than a slight berry taste. The pomegranate and blackberry appear to be nothing more than a marketing gimmick.
