Crystal Light Mojito Review

Rating:

Crystal Light Mojito

I received samples of Crystal Light limited edition sugar-free and alcohol free cocktails, aka "Mocktails", just in time for summer. So far I have tried and loved the Crystal Light Appletini and Margarita mixes, and now it was time to test out the Crystal Light Mojito.

This was my favorite of the three. There was a subtle minty undertones that is absolutely necessary for all mojitos, alcoholic or not (as in this case), and it wasn't as tart as the other two. The husband even agreed that this was mighty tasty and he doesn't like anything with artificial sweeteners (Crystal Light mocktails are sweetened with aspartame, acesulfame K and a little sugar. There are 5 calories per serving of 1/8th of the packet - which makes about 1 cup of drink.

The ingredients list also contains citric acid, maltodextrin, natural flavor, magnesium oxide, and less than 2% of natural flavor, yellow 5 and blue 1. A container of the Crystal Light Mojito Mixes (which has 5 packets) costs $2.99. As i said before, this is my favorite of the "mocktails." But let me say that I wouldn't drink this everyday - I drink lots of water and maybe once a week I throw in a few "sugar free" drinks.
