Diet Trash: Bear Naked Blueberry Walnut Peak Protein Granola Review
Diet Trash is about the food products you might eat because you think you're doing something better for your diet, but you'll be surprised to know, they're not.
Bear Naked is a very popular all Natural Granola. I picked up the Blueberry Walnut variety after hearing many people rave about it, but when I took a look at the nutrition facts, I did a double take. One 1/4 cup serving has 130 calories! A 1/4 cup is really nothing more than a handful. Compare this to Health Valley Granola which is also made with all natural (and organic) ingredients and has 180-190 calories in a 2/3 cup serving. That's 270 calories per cup compared to 520 calories in Bear Naked.
Granola is not really a great product for dieters anyway because they are usually very calorie dense, but if you're on a diet, try choosing one with as few calories as possible (which wouldn't be Bear Naked). See more details about the nutrition facts for Bear Naked Blueberry Walnut Peak Protein Granola.
