Diet Trash: Banquet Corn Dog Meal Review
Diet Trash is about the food products you might eat because you think you're doing something better for your diet, but you'll be surprised to know, they're not.
The Banquet Corn Dog Meal has 1 corn dog (batter coated chicken on a stick), a small handful of french fries, a piece of chocolate cake and a little bit of corn. This meal essentially has no nutrients and is 490 calories worth of crap. You also get 28% of the recommended daily amount (RDA) of total fat, 18% of the RDA for saturated fat, and 33% of the RDA for sodium (800 mg). If that weren't bad enough, the very small portion size only leaves you hungrier than when you started eating the meal.
The Banquet Corn Dog Meal reminds me of the term 'gateway drug' - It's like the start of bad eating habits, so I implore you to avoid this like the plague. It's pretty cheap at only $1.00, but so are Michelina's Lean Gourmet meals which are much healthier. I recommend the 5 Cheese Lasagna and the Roasted Sirloin Supreme.
