Chex Mix Trail Mix (Sweet 'n Salty) Review

On my way to a 5K race over the weekend after an early morning bike ride, I stopped at a convenience store to grab a quick snack. I saw Chex Mix Sweet 'n Salty Trail Mix with "60% less fat than regular potato chips" across the front & back of the packaging. That caught my attention, so I grabbed a pack and devoured it in about 5 minutes - so I had to get another one to take pictures for this review ... the things I do for i{ate}A{pie}.net!

Total Fat: 5 grams, 8%
Saturated Fat: 1.5 grams, 8%
Sodium: 95 mg, 4%
Carbohydrates: 24 grams
Fiber: 1 gram, 4%

Protein: 3 grams
The components of this trail mix are Chex Mix, pretzels. peanuts, raisins & chocolate pieces. Of course it was yummy! The Chex Mix is light & airy and then with the added sweetness from the raisins & chocolate, plus the salty from the nuts - delish! Since I ate an entire bag (3 servings), I was hoping the nutrition facts wouldn't be too bad.
Each 1/2 cup serving of Chex Mix Sweet 'n Salty Trail Mix provides 150 calories, 5 grams of total fat which includes 1.5 grams of saturated fat (both 8% of the daily value), 1 gram of fiber, 8 grams of sugars and 3 grams of protein.

The ingredients list is available on the website) - this is not an all natural product & partially hydrogenated soybean oil makes an appearance. I purchased a 106 gram bag which has about 3 servings, for $1.19 at a convenience store (hence higher prices than in a regular grocery store).
There's less sugars (about the same calories and fat) in this than in Planters Daybreak Blend Berry Almond Trail Mix, and there's less calories and fat than in EatStrong Trail Mix - but the ingredients in the latter are all natural. So I probably would buy Chex Mix Sweet 'n Salty Trail Mix again, especially after a long wrokout.
