Somersaults Cocoa Chez SnacksSomersaults Cocoa Chez Crunchy Nuggets are supposed to be not too salty, not too sweet, but just right. "The cocoa flakes in our Chez Cocoa give a perfect delight for moms and kids alike. Blended rich cocoa, toasted grains and sunflower seeds baked into the perfect sweet treat, mmm très bon!" says Sommersault Snack Co.

What I found is that each little nugget, the size of a nickel, but the thickness of a butterscotch candy, is full of crunchy goodness with the main ingredient, sun flower seeds, taking center stage.

While there are many varieties of scrumptious Somersaults, the Cocoa Chez flavor is my favorite, hands down. It is the perfect snack to kill the chocolate munchies in a healthy way. An abundance of visible sunflower seeds are dispersed throughout the sweetened-cocoa-wheat flour base. Although I say sweetened, because there is sugar in the ingredient list (3rd on a list of 13 ingredients), in all honesty, these snacks are not all that sweet. They simply have a satisfying chocolate background that accompanies the nuttiness of the crunchy nuggets flawlessly.

A 30 gram serving of 15 Somersaults Cocoa Chez nuggets provides 150 calories, 6 grams of total fat (9% of the daily value), 0.5 grams of saturated fat, 150 mg of sodium (6% of the DV), 12% of the DV for fiber, 5 grams of sugar and 6 grams of protein. And the ingredients list is all natural.

Sommersaults aren't easy to find, but you can find Somersaults Chez Cocoa Crunchy Nuggets at Amazon.com at $15.42 for a pack of 6 (6 ounce pouches). i LOVE these, even though they don't have the traditional sweetness that one might expect, and I plan to guy more in the future.
