Blue Diamond Almond Nut Thins Review

Blue Diamond Almond Nut ThinsWhen I first bit into one of the Blue Diamond Almond Nut Thins, not knowing what to expect, I was delightfully intrigued. They have a subtle almond flavor profile to them and their true textural and flavor profile is somewhat of a hybrid between a thin and crispy rice cake (sometimes known as rice thins) and a tortilla chip ... it's pretty fantastic. They are only lightly salted rounds that are suitable for a variety of uses - eat them plain, crumbled over salads/soups or topped with a festive spread ... they won't disappoint.

What's really delightful is the all natural ingredient list for these wheat free & gluten free snacks: rice flour, almonds, potato starch, salt, expeller pressed safflower oil, natural almond flavor and natural butter flavor, which is better than for Nabisco Low Sodium Saltine Crackers. Each16 cracker serving of these addicting little crunchy snacks provides 130 calories, 4% of the daily value for total fat, no saturated fat, 5% of the DV for sodium, < 1 gram of fiber, no sugar and 3 grams of protein.

Blue Diamond Nut Thins can typically be spotted on sale for less than $2.00 a box, which is quite a steal. Blue Diamond has other flavors of their crunchy snacks besides just Almond, so keep an eye out for the Cheddar Cheese, Country Ranch, Pecan, Hazelnut or Smokehouse varieties and report back with your favorite!
