Penny's No Sugar Added Toffee Cinnamon Cookie Review
Soft, dense, moist, chewy, cinnamon-filled, well-developed toffee flavor. All of the above are words that I would use to describe Penny's Low Fat Desserts No Sugar Added Toffee Cinnamon Cookie. "Is it artificially sweetened?" I hear you asking. No. It's naturally sweetened with rebiana (stevia) and erythritol. The sweetness tastes so natural and embodies the idea of toffee just perfectly. I am not really sure who came up with this combination of ingredients to create such a uniquely delicious product, but they hit the nail on the head.

The irresistible texture is comparable to that of a deliciously dense, soft, moist, homemade banana bread. The buttery, cinnamon, caramel-like flavor is unlike anything I have ever had before in a healthy baked good. I have had MANY 100 calorie snacks in my days as a food reviewer and let me tell you, this is one of the most satisfying ones to date.
This flavor-packed, sinful baked good only contains 100 calories, 2.5 grams of total fat, 6 grams of fiber, 3 grams of sugar and protein. There is also 14 grams of sugar alcohols. Remember too much sugar alcohols can cause GI upset, which I didn't experience, but I also didn't have more than 1 in a day.

The ingredients list is all natural, and starts with erythritol (not surprising considering the amount of sugar alchols shown on the nutrition facts),followed by oats, water, dried plums, whole wheat flour and more natural goodness.
I received samples from the company but I will surely be reordering some for myself. You can purchase a box of 16 delicious diabetic-friendly Penny's No Sugar Added Toffee Cinnamon Cookies for $28.99. A bit pricey, but worth it, for sure.
