Nutridel Pecan Cookies Review

Nutridel makes artisan, gourmet cookies which contain no animal or dairy products. The cookies are made by hand in small batches with all-natural ingredients, and Nutridel says, "the result is a crispy, crunchy snack you can enjoy any time with guilt-free pleasure!"

Nutridel cookies come individually wrapped, the first thing I noticed, when I was going to sample the Pecan Cookie, was that it was quite large and flat.

I took one out of the package and broke it into 4 or 5 pieces. Immediately, a nutty aroma wafted throughout the room. It was very strong and pleasant. Mmm .. folks these cookies are good . They have this perfect crunch that is crispy and dense (from the abundance of nuts, seeds and whole wheat flour) and the perfect amount of sweetness from the addition of molasses. They sort of remind me of Nature Valley Crunchy Granola Bars, but they are much thinner; being just thick enough to have a dense, yet delicate crunch. I like them better than any crunchy granola bar I have ever had.

Better yet, each 25 gram Nutridel Pecan Cookie provides only 59 calories from only 1 gram of total fat, 4 grams of sugars and 2 grams of fiber and protein. The ingredient list contains simply Whole Wheat Flour, Wheat Bran, Amaranth, Pecans, Molasses, Sunflower Oil and Natural Pecan Essence. These cookies will not only cure a granola fix, but they are wholesome, flavorful and just plain tasty.

These vegan friendly, all natural treats are quite the charmers. A sampler pack of the various Nutridel Cookie varieties (Almond, Oatmeal, Pecan and Flaxseed) is available to order at the Nutridel online store at $16 for 8 twin wrapped packages. On the other hand, you can buy a box with 28 packages of 2 cookies each for $42.00. I will be the first to say that these are not exactly cheap, but, if you are a granola-loving dieter, I would say to get together with some friends and order up at least 4 boxes ... your shipping will be free!
