Popchips is usally a safe bet for a tasty, not too oily chip. We have already given the thumbs up to Popchips Cheddar and Popchips Original but the Popchips Sour Cream & Onion Potato Chips Review is just ... aiight! I decided to try the Popchips Barbeque Potato Chips to see if I would discover another favorite.
Popchips are not fried or baked. Instead, they say, "we start with wholesome potatoes, add a little heat and pressure, and pop!"
These chips have a very nice barbecue flavor, just what you would expect, and there is a pleasant slightly spicy kick after you've even a few chips. These were so yummy that I was glad that I had bought a single serving bag - I surely wouldn't have stopped if I hadn't.
Each serving provides 100 calories, 3 grams of total fat (5% of the DV), no saturated or trans fat, 210 mg for sodium (9% of the DV), 1 gram of fiber and protein plus 2 grams of sugars.
The ingredients list is pretty short and sweet. Now don't forget that Popchips Barbeque Potato Chips is still just a snack with not much nutritional value - so snack wisely! Try to limit your portion size - and if you know you can't help but keep going back for more, then buy single serving bags. Sure it's not the most economical option, but you gotta do what works for you.
