Health Valley Spicy Vegetarian Chili Review
Health Valley says "there aren't many simpler, more satisfying comforts than curling up with a warm bowl of soup or chili" and I totally agree. Unfortunately for me, I decided to curl up with their Spicy Vegetarian Chili and it almost ruined my night.
Even though the package claims that it is spicy and flavorful, nothing could be further from the truth. It lacked any flavor and the texture was a little ... off. This chili tasted extremely bland and watered down, making it almost intolerable to eat. Thankfully it was only $1.00 per can, so I can just chalk it up as a cheap lesson learned.

The upside is, if you can stomach this mess, 1 can (2 servings) of Health Valley Spicy Vegetarian Chili has 22 grams of fiber (almost 100% of the recommended daily amount) and 70% of the RDA for vitamin A. These are 2 nutrients we almost never get enough of, and there are not that many good sources out there. There is also 320 calories, only 2 grams of fat, low sodium (130 mg) and 28 grams of protein.
So sad that this tastes so bad, but has great nurition facts. The bottom line, if taste matters to you - and it does to me - stay away from this one.
