While looking around for a new cereal to try out, I discovered Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats Little Bites in Honey Nut and Chocolate. However, the chocolate variety contained saturated fat, which I generally like to keep out of my breakfasts, so Honey Nut it was (plus Honey Nut makes for a great cereal). Kellogg's says this cereal is made with 100% whole grains and this "lightly sweetened whole-grain wheat cereal" is nearly half the size of regular Frosted Mini-Wheats cereal (one of my complaints about the regular one is that the size is a little too big for me).
Each 190 calorie serving of Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats Honey Nut Little Bites consists of 46 biscuits and my insatiable curiosity lead to me actually count out 46 pieces just to see how much munch you truly get. Surprisingly, it turns out to be quite a bit, filling a small snack sized baggie to full capacity. Like most Kellogg's cereal, each serving is fortified with a cornucopia of vitamins and minerals. Better yet, the ingredient list is very simple and includes whole grain wheat, sugar, honey, sorbitol and a few more things.
A 14.5 ounce box of Kellogg's Frosted Mini Wheats Honey Nut Little Bites cost $2.50, which is about average for the cereal world. In my opinion, these Little Bites are a step up from Kellogg's Original Frosted Mini Wheats with better size and taste.
