York Sugar Free Peppermint Patties Review
York Peppermint Patties are chocolate covered patties with a peppermint flavored center - about the size of an Oreo cookie. Bite into one and you will immediately notice that the pattie just melts in the mouth, and there is a nice cooling sensation due to the peppermint. The original peppermint patty has a sweeter taste, but the sugar is not missed in the sugar free version, because the other sensations contribute so much more to making this a very good tasting candy /pattie.

The serving size is 3 pieces (36 grams) in which there are 110 calories, 4.5 grams fat (5% of the recommended daily amount), 2 grams saturated fat (10% of the RDA), no sugar, but there are 27 grams of sugar alcohols - so don't eat too many or you will be headed for the bathroom. Actually, now that I think about it, using sugar alcohols is almost like having portion control built into the candy - eat too many and you will get diarrhea (this has happened to me with other products, so don't take this warning lightly). Sucralose, another alternative sweetener commonly known as Splenda, is also in this product and no partially hydrogenated oils are listed in the ingredients.
The cost is about $3.00 for a pouch with 7 patties. Overall, I really liked this product as a fat free candy. If you're diabetic, or have a sweet tooth, I would recommend trying York Sugar free Peppermint Patties.
