In case you haven't gotten the memo yet - we LOVE Chocolite sugar free products. So far, I have tried the Chocolite Crispy Caramel Bites and the Chocolite Peanut Chews with fantastic results, and really, I expected nothing when I decided to try Chocolite Peanut Butter Cup Patties.
I bought a package with 2 pieces of these peanut butter goodies for $1.59 at my local health foods store. These chews remind me of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups - but with almost half the calories. It didn't resemble Reese's in that it wasn't in a cup, with those characteristic ruffled edges, but instead it was a chunk of chocolate-covered peanut buttery goodness. I took a bite and was amazed by the lightness and fluffiness of the peanut butter filling ! Each of the 2 treats took a few bites to eat, making the experience even more satisfying. The filling tastes natural (maybe more so than regular Reese's), as does the chocolate coating, and it truly does melt in your mouth.
Each serving of Chocolite Peanut Butter Cup Patties (1 piece) provides 40 calories, 5% of the daily value for total and saturated fat, 24% of the daily value for fiber, 1 gram of sugar alcohol, and 1 gram of protein. Each 15 gram Reese's Peanut Butter Cup has 80 calories, 8% of the daily value for total and saturated fat, no fiber and 7 grams of sugars.
Stock up at Netrition.com, where you can get 16 packages for $16.95, if you can't find this at your local stores.
