Chocolite Sugar Free Chocolate Almond Fudge ChewsIf you have not tried Chocolite products then you are truly missing out! I have already had the Chocolite Peanut Chews (Sugar Free), which were amazing, and so I couldn't wait to try the Chocolite Sugar Free Chocolate Almond Fudge Chews.

NUTRITION FACTS

The package depicts a rich, chocolately candy studded with almond bits. I opened the package to see if the product inside tasted as delicious as it looked. And it did! I love almond, and I liked the variation from the standard pecan and peanut in candies. I also liked the fudgy almond brittle-like taste as well.

Each chew provides 30 calories, 2 grams of total fat which includes 1 gram of saturated fat, 25% of the daily value for fiber, no sugars (of course), 1 gram of sugar alcohols and 1 gram of protein. There are 2 chews per package.

The ingredients are, "Polydextrose, Fractionated Palm Kernel Oil, Oligofructose, Erythritol, Cocoa Butter, Almonds, Milk Protein Concentrate, Chocolate Liquor, Maltodextrin, Heavy Cream, Glycerine, Calcium carbonate, Milk Fat, Sodium Caseinate, Natural Flavors, Maltitol Syrup, Salt, Soy Lecithin, Disodium Phosphate, Sucralose" - looks like a lot goes into these little chews.

I was lucky enough to got these as a sample from the company (thanks, Healthsmart Foods), but I have seen Chocolite Sugar Free Chocolate Almond Fudge Chews at the store near me for $1.59 a package. They're also available online at Lucky Vitamin for about $1.28 each. And I will be buying more myself - I don't eat a lot of candy, but these will do the trick to satisfy a sweet craving. And for diabetics, thank goodness you have a delicious tasting sugar-free "candy" available to you.
