Inside the package are two candies ... I mean "chews". These candies are made of sorbitol, dehydrated coconut, oligofructose, erythritol, cocoa butter, chocolate liquor, sodium caseinate, calcium carbonate, whey protein concentrate, milk fat, soy lecithin, vanilla, and sucralose. Those aren't the most natural ingredients for sure, but for a candy that has just 35 calories per piece, I wouldn't expect them to be.
As for taste, I must say that at first I didn't taste the coconut. I popped one of the candies into my mouth and at first only noticed the slightly artificial yet still delicious chocolate coating. After a few seconds, though, the coconut came through loud and clear - and it was delicious. These candies aren't as chewy as the other nut-based ones,
but they're still great. They definitely killed my chocolate craving at little nutritional expense (just watch those sugar alcohols).
In addition to just 35 calories, each Chocolite Chocolate Coconut Chew provides 2 grams of total fat and saturated fat, 1 gram of fiber, no sugars but 6 grams of sugar alcohols, no protein, and 5% of the RDA for calcium and iron.
