Smuckers Natural Peanut Butter with HoneyI bet my friend $5.00 that he couldn't eat an entire jar of peanut butter in one sitting. I am sorry to say that I lost the bet along with my $5.00. True story! The rules were as follows:

1- any jar of peanut butter will do
2- he could drink as much liquids as he wanted.

So on our trip the grocery store we purchased the only peanut butter I haven't tried yet (from the regular grocery store that is)- Smuckers Natural Peanut Butter with Honey. This natural peanut butter consists of just peanuts, honey, and salt.

With a little bit of muscle, I was able to fully mix the oil and creamy peanut butter together. Before the competition could begin, I had to have a taste. Why should he have all the fun right?!? I LOVE peanut butter and honey sandwiches so I pretty much figured I would like this ... I was totally right. They peanut butter & honey combo was spot on - just the right amount of honey. Not too sweet, but detectable. I also really like the texture of this peanut butter. Even though it was creamy, it still had a little grittiness to it. Trust me - it rocked!

The nutrition facts are similar to other brands with a natural peanut butter & honey combination, like Justin's Organic Honey Peanut Butter. A 2 tbsp serving of Smucker's Natural Peanut Butter with Honey provides 200 calories, 24% of the daily value for total fat & 11% for saturated fat, 2 grams of fiber, 4 grams of sugar, and 7 grams of protein.

There is no 2 ways about it, peanut butter is a high calorie, high fat food, so I never eat more than a serving in a sitting, which still leaves me feeling satisfied. I loved this stuff and my friend was glad this was the jar he picked for the competition. Even after eating the entire jar, he still liked the taste.
