Fuze Slenderize Tangerine Grapefruit is my favorite flavor of the Fuze Slenderize line, and it is, in my opinion, much better tasting than the others - in fact, I'm going to go as far as to say that this tastes better than many of the low-calorie juice or flavored water I have ever tried.
I am not a huge fan of tangerine or grapefruit-flavored juices, but the taste this combination produces is outstanding. It's light and slightly sweet. Neither the tangerine or grapefruit are strongly present, but instead subtle hints are delivered in each mouthful. It's definitely not as tart as I thought it was going to be.
Each 8 ounce serving of Fuze Slenderize Tangerine Grapefruit provides only 10 calories, 10 mg of sodium, 2 grams of carbohydrates, and 1 gram of sugar due to the presence of apple juice concentrate. The label boasts that the beverage contains no artificial colors or artificial flavors, and it is 5% juice - the sweeteners used are sucralose and acesulfame K.
The Slenderize line claims to boost metabolism and curb your appetite and I've tried many of the flavors but haven't really noticed any changes in either of these after drinking them. Marketing gimmicks aside, even if you have not enjoyed Fuze Slenderize beverages in the past (I know Tanya thought they were horrible when they first became popular way back in '05 (read the review)), I would definitely suggest giving this flavor a try, especially if you are looking for a low-calorie soda replacement. Each 18 ounce bottle usually costs between $1.00 - $1.80.
