I do make sure to drink plenty of water daily, but I must confess that I cannot drink water all day every day. I need a little flavah sometimes! Sometimes, that flavor might come from flavored water, like VitaminWater 10 Multi-V Lemonade, or light iced tea beverages. When I'm in the mood for tea flavor, I usually reach for Snapple Diet Peach Tea is my favorite flavor, but I figured I was doing myself a disservice by not trying the other varieties. Since I like citrus, I opted for the Snapple Diet Lemon Tea, which cost $1.29.
I was expecting a lot from this and frankly, I was a bit disappointed. Lemon teas are often too sweet and not tart enough, and I also think that artificial lemon flavoring doesn't pair that well with green and black tea. This drink was no exception to that, much to my chagrin.
Each 8-ounce serving of Snapple Diet Lemon Tea has 0 calories, 5 mg of sodium and not much else. The ingredients are, filtered water, citric acid, tea, aspartame, potassium citrate and natural flavors. It is, after all, a diet tea-based drink.
I found this to be much better than Arizona Diet Iced Tea with Lemon Flavor, but still not superb and probably won't be buying this flavor again.
There are so many flavors of Snapple Diet Tea though, that I should have no problems finding more flavors that I like - Diet Mango Green Tea, Diet Cranberry Raspberry Juice Drink and Diet Plum-a-Granate and Diet Trop-A-Rocka all sound good and I can't wait to try them.
