Wish-Bone Salad Spritzers (Caeser Delight Vinaigrette)
I've started using salad "spritzers" more often as late, because they contain fewer calories than regular salad dressings. Recently, it was time to get another bottle, and as Wish-Bone Salad Spritzers (Caeser Delight Vinaigrette) was the only one available at FreshDirect (grocery delivery service in NYC), I decided to give it a try. I was already a fan of the Asian Silk Wish-Bone Salad Spritzers, so I was hoping the $3.29 per bottle of this variety would be worth it. I put some of my salad on my plate and sprayed with the dressing.

When I took a forkful of my salad, I found out that this spray just didn't cut it for me. Although this is supposedly made with extra virgin olive oil, cheddar and Romano cheeses, spices, and a touch of lemon juice, it just tasted kind of blah. Sure, it made my salad more interesting, but I wouldn't pay that money for it again.
10 sprays of Caeser Delight Vinaigrette Wish-Bone Salad Spritzers provides 10 calories, 1 gram of total fat, 4% of the daily value for sodium, less than 1 gram of sugars, and no fiber or protein.
I much prefer the Asian Silk Wish-Bone Salad Spritzers, and I felt like I had wasted my money. Does anyone else use salad spritzers? I really like them for portion control, and the taste isn't usually too bad - although it's not as good as regular salad dressings - but I'm willing to make the sacrifice ... sometimes, just not in this case.

That sounds tasty, the sodium isn't so bad either! Yum
