Tribe All Natural Hummus (Roasted Garlic)
The addition of hummus to a plate of baby carrots makes the carrots taste even more delicious. Even though garlic is an inherent part of hummus, I'm usually a little hesitant when it comes to garlic in my snacks for its taste can sometimes linger longer than I would like. However, my usual flavor of hummus was out of stock at the store, so I decided to try Tribe Roasted Garlic Hummus instead.

The texture of this hummus was very nicely smooth yet slightly chunky. The garlic flavor was not very noticeable, which was a plus for me. I was satisfied with the taste which my taste buds could only characterize as 'hummus-like' since the ingredient breakdown only vaguely mentions "spices."
A serving of 2 tablespoons serving of Tribe Roasted Garlic Hummus provides 60 calories, 5% of the daily value for total fat, 1 gram of fiber and 2 grams of protein.
The ingredients are simply chickpeas (chickpeas, water), canola oil, sesame tahini, sea salt, citric acid, natural roasted garlic, spices. I purchased an 8 ounce container for $1.98 at Walmart and was quite satisfied with this hummus despite my hesitance about garlic in its name.
Tribe All Natural Roasted Garlic Hummus worked great with carrots, but I'm sure they would be tasty on a sandwich or pita as well. And hummus can replace peanut butter (in some instances), where you'll be swapping 200 calories for 60 calories. Another brand of roasted garlic hummus that's also tasty is Athenos Roasted Garlic Hummus.

I love hummus. Never had roasted garlic, it sounds good, though!

I've tried a lot of different brands of hummus and I'm sorry to say, but this is by far my least favorite of any brand. It just tastes weird. It almost tastes fake if that makes sense. It's just way too much of a fake garlic taste, and all the other flavors are just off as well. A good brand to try is the sabra hummus. It's delicious! =)
