Skinny Cow Cookies 'n Cream Ice Cream Cups

I have discovered something amazing, and its name is Skinny Cow Ice Cream Cups. These pre-portioned 5.8 ounce cups of low fat, but full-flavor, ice cream from the brand that brought you the delicious Skinny Cow Low Fat Ice Cream Sandwiches. When I saw these ice cream cups in the supermarket, I didn't have to think twice before putting down my $1.49, for the Cookies 'n Cream flavor.

Let me tell you, this tasted like just as it should - like real creamy ice cream loaded with cookie pieces. This cup of delicious ice cream really hit the spot and thank goodness for the portion control, so I know just what I'm getting. Thankfully I didn't buy more than 1 because I surely would had a few - just because the taste was that fantastic.

Each cup has just 150 measly calories, 2 grams of fat, 4 grams of fiber, 18 grams of sugar and 5 grams of protein. There is also 20% of the daily value for calcium.

An ice cream snack with fiber, protein, and calcium, with low calories and fat? Sign me up! I wish the sugar count was a little lower (the 2nd ingredient is sugar) and there is partially hydrogenated soybean oil, partially hydrogenated cottonseed oil in the ingredients list.

Overall Skinny Cow Cookies 'n Cream Ice Cream Cups is a nicely portion controlled snack for people who know that they will go through a tub of ice cream with the quickness! I'm looking forward to trying the other flavors, like Strawberry Cheesecake, Caramel Cone, Chocolate Fudge Brownie, and Dulce de Leche.
