Frozen yogurt is a favorite treat of mine, but sometimes the ingredient list looks like the recipe for a scientific experiment. Therefore, when I spotted Blue Bunny All Natural Frozen Yogurt, I decided to give it a try. I picked up a container of the Strawberry Bananaflavor, which is composed of Milk, Fat Free Milk, Sugar, Strawberries, Cream, Inulin, Bananas, Egg Yolks, Carob Bean Gum and Cultures.

I was pretty pumped to end my day on this particular sweet note. I scooped the light pink and white swirly creation into a crunchy cake cone and took my first taste. Oh boy! There is a strong background of natural banana flavor, which mixes with the delightful strawberry flavor for a banana split-like taste sensation. Each utterly smooth and creamy bite is reminiscent of soft serve ice cream, which would cost $3.99 for one serving at a frozen yogurt shop (you can get the whole tub of Blue Bunny for that). To make things more interesting, there are hunks of strawberry in select bites, which add a bit of texture to the smooth and swirly goodness.
Each delicious 1/2 cup serving of Blue Bunny All Natural Strawberry Banana Frozen Yogurt provides 100 calories, 3% & 6% of the daily value for total and saturated fat, 16 grams of sugar and 3 grams of protein. Thanks to that all natural ingredient list, you will also obtain a variety of vitamins and minerals, including 10% of the RDA for Calcium.
Delia already wrote a glowing review of Blue Bunny Strawberry Cheesecake Fat Free Frozen Yogurt and I can't wait to try the other all natural varieties that Blue Bunny is cranking out. So far, I am loving everything about them ... the all natural color, the creamy texture, the bountiful flavor and the impressive nutrition profile. The frozen yogurt shop that I frequent in my town may be seeing a bit less of me from now on!
